Kevin is a psychotherapist by day and a closeted storyteller by night. Born 100% Irish American, he has created what he calls his favorite Holiday story cocktail: Take one experience of shame or humiliation, add a jigger of humor and muddle in some cheeky bits. Pour into a tall glass over dry wit and garnish with a sprig of blarney. This verbal libation is meant to be shared with friends and family as often as possible since its only side effect is laughter.
Storytelling VT hosts a special night of stories, in partnership with the Fletcher Free Library and RETN. This special night is in conjunction with “Exploring Human Origins: What Does It Mean to Be Human?,” a traveling exhibition by the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) and the American Library Association (ALA), coming to the library February 2017. Our theme for the night is "What does it mean to be human?" and is told live without notes, in the magical living room that is the Light Club.
